“A familiar quote is: “The proof is in the pudding.” This old adage is an excellent description of the experience a runner will receive when working with Fusion Running and Coach Snow. There are many different types of runners and running programs out there. I know this after training with three different teams in the Denver area. What I have learned is running in the right program can really change your perspective on running.
My perspective of my average time changed. After my first season working Coach Snow I found myself crossing the finish line in a personal best 1:28 in the half marathon. My old norm was 1:40.
My idea of running form was revised. I have had coaches tell me my form was impossible to improve to others give me tips that yielded the same results in the big races. Coach Snow worked with me at the weekly practices to tweak my form from head to toe literally. This is was a break through for me. Suddenly, I had less pain in the long marathon season and improved times.
My strategy of racing changed. I have been to big group sessions where a nutritionist or coach tells a large group of people how to refuel or run their race. Through Fusion Running, I learned how to independently figure out what my goal pace should be for short runs and long runs. Coach Snow taught me how to figure out what I needed to eat and drink in races and when to do it. He worked with each runner individually to improve their running strategies. While, this information may seem trivial these items are the difference between feeling great and breaking down at mile 20 when there is still a 10K lingering in the big race.
While running with Fusion Running and working with Coach Snow my complete running experience has been enhanced. The methodology and integrity of Coach Snow has brought progress and a breath of fresh air into my running life. Whatever type of runner or level of running you do, I recommend you talk to Brian Snow and see if he can help you realize your full potential too.
